[Infrastructures] Jumpstart on AFS?

I believe all you need on the local subnet is rarpd and bootparamd. The tftp
server and nfs server can be accessed through a router. So, the only real
benefit would be if you stored the /etc/ethers and /etc/bootparams in AFS.
Either way, you still need a host providing the required broadcast based
services on each subnet. Network traffic might be reduced slightly due
to AFS caching, depending on how often you do a jumpstart build.
However, jumpstart with AFS requires use of an NFS->AFS translation daemon,
since jumpstart requires NFS. I forget the name of the daemon that shipped
with transarc AFS, and am not sure if similar functionality is available
in OpenAFS.

If jumpstart itself was put on an AFS share you could effectively have a jumpstart server on each subnet that you needed... (or is that a bad idea)
