I am 'only' a sys admin but would not mind at all such a discussion - I
can learn from it. Especially as I have some hope of leaving 'here'
and joining a startup. The HM in C (feels odd to call Michael a 'CIO')
and I have discussed 'best practices and 'Infrastructure'; in a
nutshell, if I can provide him an IT setup that a) works and b) can
scale to grow with the company, he doesn't care if it stands on it's
head and whistles 'Garry Owen'.
