I'm a little curious myself, although I'm a Canuck, so SOX is of only
peripheral impact. But, we have our own legislature that is moving
further in this direction. If memory serves, NFSv4 is addressing various
security aspects of the general NFS (v3) protocol. Would this, perhaps,
be another direction one could take? Admittedly, only Sun's Solaris 10
has it yet (I think they are back-porting it to earlier versions of
Solaris), but I can't see it taking too long to spread to other OSes.
Just askin'.
