Hello everyone --
I'm looking for definitive information on standards relating to
nodename definitions specifically related to short host names
vs FQDN.
I am mostly not interested in "opinion" but hard cold standards.
Does anyone have any references? I've tried searching the web,
but I can only find vagueness and opinions.
Thank you.
Scott
